The bus

Who is on which bus, and who is not.

Routes, stops, seats and fees in the same system as everything else — so a child who changed sections in July is not still on the old route in September.

The transport register lives in one person's head.

Which child gets down at which stop, who changed route in the middle of the term, whose transport fee is a term behind. It works perfectly until that person is on leave.

What Edustians does about it

Each of these is built and working today. Where something is not, the questions below say so plainly.

  • Routes and stops, with the children on them

A route has stops, a stop has children, and each child's parent can see the stop they are allocated to.

  • Transport fees as their own head

Charged by route or by distance, and separated from tuition — which matters both for your accounts and for the GST treatment.

  • A change reaches the family

A route change or a stop change is a notice to the affected parents, not a note on the office wall.

The questions worth asking a vendor

Including the ones where our answer is no. A school that buys on a promise and finds a gap does not renew.

Is there live GPS tracking of the bus?
Not built. If you already have a GPS vendor, keep them — we handle the register, the allocation and the money, and we will not pretend otherwise at a demo.

Instead of a wall of logos

What you can check for yourself.

  • Your data never leaves India

Hosted in Mumbai. Every institution's records are separated inside the database itself — not by a line of application code somebody could forget to write.

  • Built for the DPDP Act 2023

Parental consent, withdrawal and erasure are working features, including the stricter rules that apply to a child's data.

  • UDISE+ without the fortnight

Your return is generated from the records you already keep, and every figure can be opened up to show the rows it came from.

  • Readable by everyone

Measured against WCAG 2.2 AA across every screen on every release — because a grandparent at the school gate uses this too.

See it with your own school's data.

A working demonstration on your own classes, your own fee structure and your own report card format — not a slide deck.
